Steve Steckler has spent his entire career in public accounting, working for both small and medium-sized firms, including Grant Thornton, New York, New York, before joining Raines & Fischer in 1988. Steve became a partner at the firm in 1999, where he specializes in the audits of real estate partnerships and investment partnerships including fund of funds. 

He has extensive experience with the preparation and review of corporation, partnership, and gift and estate tax returns. Steve is also well-versed in communicating with the IRS and state tax agencies on behalf of clients who receive tax inquiries, assessments or those who have tax collection issues.

Steve has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Queens College and a Master of Science in Taxation from The Bernard M. Baruch College of the City University of New York. He is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
